Pearl Izumi Alp

Pearl Izumi Alp
You'll find this mtb shoe available in three versions, for both men and women, making the Pearl Izumi X Alp a very adaptable shoe from this manufacturer.

The X-Alp Low is a performance shoe with a stiff nylon sole plate to give direct power to the pedals when you exert effort. However, its also got good enough toe flexibility to let you walk easily when the trails gets too steep to ride and there are carbon rubber tread to give you stability off the bike.

With the X-Alp Enduro, as it sounds, you are equipped more for longer trail riding on single track and mountain paths, as the shoe is grippy and strong. Its built to give you power on the bike and plenty of grip off the bike in difficult terrain and over taxing long distances.

If you want a combination of the other models, then the X-Alp Seek does it, using a lightweight upper like the running shoe, combined with the X-Alp bottom and sole.

Pearl Izumi Attack

Pearl Izumi Attack
These are women's shoes in both mtb and road versions, both of which are performance shoes with secure fit using a ratchet mechanism.

The construction of the Pearl Izumi Attack MTB shoe includes a nylon composite sole with moulded mtb cage for traction and strength, with lugs on the tread to let you go anywhere. The heel lining is synthetic and gives good hold with comfort, the buckle is two position and low profile to keep out of the way of stray branches. The sole is SPD compatable, twin bolt.

With the Womens' Attack Road shoe, you get a vented nylon sole to combine value and performance, with a synthetic heel lining like the mtb version. The uppers have minimum weight construction, while also providing an abrasion resistant front foot area mesh to allow your foot to breathe. As with the mountain bike shoe, the buckle is low profile, two position. The cleat is a 3 bolt Look pedal pattern.
